Thesaurus.com is in the Dark Ages

I was recently trying to come up with an alternative word for "female". So I turned to thesaurus.com and did a quick search.

I was gobsmacked with what I saw. Words like "weak", "shrew", "frail", "weaker sex" appeared. So I looked up "woman" and it was worse with "old lady", "skirt", "wife".

So what does thesaurus.com have to say about "male"? They give me "potent", "virile", "stud", "tiger"… not one derogatory word. And how about "man"? Yes, you get "citizen of the world".

What a load of sexist pigs! Or as thesaurus.com would say, "racist, redneck, sectarian bigots".
