Wordpress Geo-Tracker

I'm spending my weekend recovering from pneumonia and working on Wordpress Geo-Tracker plugin. It's a great feature tracking my visitors from around the globe on a Google Map. I love it.

The install was pretty straight forward. But when I applied a style sheet to the page and came across a problem which stumps me still. With a style sheet, the list of visitors gets shorted to just visitors with an external referrer site. My other visitors don't show.

Right now I only have 3 visitors (including myself). One from Omaha that was referred through another blog. And a visitor from Paris who wasn't referred. When I apply a style sheet, only the visitor from Omaha shows up.

I have two examples of my Geo-Tracker install. One without a style sheet, and the other with one. See links. GeoTracker with no style and all visitors: no css click here GeoTracker with style and only referred visitors: with css click here

If anyone out there can shed some light on why my CSS is limiting my data, you would make my life worlds better. With or without pneumonia.

I didn’t manage to fix my Geo-Tracker yet but I have Google Earth Post localisator installed. A great feature that enhances any blog

I’m trying to install on my website and got the same problem you did (Saw your post on the GeoTracker blog). How did you fix it? I’m using WordPress 2.0.5. Is it a CSS issue? I haven’t looked at it. I get the blank page when I activate the plugin and cannot go any further. Thanks for any info! — David

My “blank page” problem was fixed when I deactivated other plug-ins. I had a Flickr Gallery plugin that I deactivated and that seemed to fix the problem.

I still can’t get the data to display correctly with a CSS applied. I’ve given up on that one. I’m planning to redo my site and hope to fix that with the new build.

I’ve given up on Geotracker. It simply doesn’t work. I’ll have to wait till the next beta release, I guess.

I like your site. Especially the page header with the cool rollover image effects (cursive font over the block text). Good luck with all your projects!
