How to Fly (Wings Not Neccessary)

This morning a boy requested a song on the radio for his 4 1/2 birthday. His song was “You Can Fly” from Peter Pan. Apparently Peter learned to fly is by thinking happy thoughts.

Such a simple concept is so very true to everyday life. Investing your thoughts in the “glass half full” perspective will set you flying. It changes your attitude which attracts abundance, new opportunities and positive people.

Tinkerbell suggests Peter think about Christmas and snow. Here’s a few that work for me:

  • Give thanks. Everyday all day.
  • Practice nonviolence. Be kind to everyone, including yourself.
  • Live in the now. Let go of the past and the future.
  • Share. Giving is a privilege not a duty.
  • Celebrate the wins as well as the losses. Either way, we’re gaining
  • Go with the flow. Fear is the only thing holding us back.
  • Remember to laugh. It’s an instant vacation.
